He begins this text with a cleverly colorful pop (pun intended) quiz recapping the illusions (mostly concerning lines and distance) he dealt with in the last book. Then he delves into illusions concerning print media, lines, geometric patterns and architecture, 3-D photography, shading, light, and the color spectrum. In addition to examples of the illusions and succinct explanations about why they work, he also includes instructions for several projects--among them, a flip book and a zootrope.
